This course commemorates the 1948 song 'Ulgo Neomneun Bakdaljae(Crossing the Bakdaljae Pass in Tears)' by Jae-Hong Park. Participants pass through beautiful old villages such as Angseong, Dongryang, Baegun, Eomjeong and Sotae, and cross the old path through Bakdaljae and Daritjae, which have many stories. 주의 / Caution 출발지로부터 약 140km 지점 박달재 다운힐이 끝나기 직전의 관문 앞에서 충주 방향으로 우회전하세요. 다운힐이 끝난 뒤에는 충주 방향으로 진출할 수 없습니다. Turn right in the direction of Chungju in front of the gate just before the end of Bakdaljae Downhill at about 140 km from the starting point. After the downhill is over, you cannot advance to Chungju. CP 2 동량과 CP 5 엄정에서 물과 간식을 충분히 준비하세요. 이후 긴 무인 구간을 지납니다. Prepare plenty of water and snacks at CP 2 Dongryang and CP 5 Eomjeong. After this point, you will pass through a long uninhabited section. 알아두면 좋은 상식 / Good to know - 박달 도령과 금동 낭자가 주인공인 '박달재 전설'은 노래의 인기로 훗날 생긴 이야기입니다. - 'The Legend of Bakdaljae', in which Bakdal doryong and Geumdong nangja are the main characters, is a story that arose later due to the popularity of the song. - 노래 가사와 달리 천등산 자락에 있는 고개는 다릿재입니다. 이 코스는 박달재와 다릿재를 모두 지납니다. - Contrary to the lyrics of the song, the hill at the foot of Mt.
